After travelling all over Japan, we finally decided to find a place to set up our base. Having a home where we have the freedom to do whatever we want is the end goal we dream of. So we did exactly as that and we call that home, Ensouan.

At first, we thought it was impossible. But the more we surrounded ourselves with people who dreamed the way we do, the more we began to believe that maybe we could do it too. That’s how this huge project began. One small step at a time. Researching, studying, trying… messing up and fixing it again and again. We’ve been working on it for years now, balancing the ‘salaryman life’ while also trying to live the life we truly want.

Our progress was slow and steady, yet looking back, we’re grateful for how far we’ve come. Friends from every corner of the world have cheered us on with unwavering support.

We often welcome friends from all over Japan and from distant parts of the world. It’s always a joy to share a part of our home with them. Life is more fun when you head out together to explore the Northern Japanese Alps, discovering new trails, views, and experiences in every season.
